When a young person experiencing homelessness has the access and opportunity to meet basic needs, they are able to transform their lives. Annually, Northwest Youth Services (NWYS) collaborates with nearly 1,000 at-risk, runaway and homeless youth on their paths to self-sufficiency. NWYS knows that by supporting youth who are experiencing homelessness now, we can work toward eliminating the experience of chronic homelessness tomorrow.
Through supportive housing and targeted services for youth and young adults in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, NWYS supports young people as they overcome adversity, harness self-determinism, and thrive in the community. For more information or to get involved visit www.nwys.org.
